Spy Spoofs from the Director of THE ARTIST

Like Bond, but predating Bond...

Michel Hazanavicius, director of THE ARTIST, employs the same stars, Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo, in these Gallic spy spoofs of superb silliness.

OSS 117: CAIRO, NEST OF SPIES (12A)
Sunday 5 February, 5.30

Dujardin is OSS 117, a French secret agent sent to Egypt "to make the Middle East safe". "No problem," the smug spy responds.  Bérénice Bejo (Peppy Miller in THE ARTIST) is his foil as the assistant of a vanished former OSS agent.

OSS 117: LOST IN RIO (15)
Sunday 12 February, 5.30

OSS 117 is hunting a Nazi who escaped to South America and who has a microfilm list of French collaborators.
