Synopsis

Bounding into view like an ungodly clash between THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and last year's Finnish chiller RARE EXPORTS, TROLLHUNTER is a Scandinavian screamer set in western Norway's vast unchartered forests.

A group of students embark on a trip into this dark terrain with the hope of capturing a reported bear poacher on tape for a college documentary assignment. But their exposé mission turns into a living nightmare when a local hunter (Otto Jespersen) reveals the truth behind the mysterious incidents.

It's not bears that are on the hit list; it's trolls. With top CGI and a sharp sense of black humour, Øvredal's feral fantasy is sure to be a monster hit.
