The second installment of The Folk/Acoustic Extravaganza in 2010 is proud to present the talented and outspoken singer ,composer and guitar virtuoso - David Ward Maclean. He will be airing tracks from his recent album 'The Wreckers', described as a record that 'grabs your soul and takes you on a journey somewhere you never want to come back from'.
David's gruff tones and impeccable wrath will be sweetly countered by the softer yet no less lyrical songs of Edwina Hayes. In 2008 Edwina released her well received second album 'Pour Me A Drink'. Nanci Griffith covered the title track from this album on her June 2009 album 'The Loving Kind'. Edwina is currently making her third album 'Good Things Happen Over Coffee'.
Messrs Fox 'n' North have been kind enough to engage us with a more stripped down acoustic set, compared to their rip-roaring full band headline of early August!
The Acoustic Conquistador is a spanish guitar virtuoso.
