Jeff, Who Lives at Home

[15]

United States 2012, 83 mins
Director: Jay Duplass
Starring: Ed Helms, Jason Segel, Susan Sarandon

Mumblecore kings the Duplass brothers follow up last year's brilliant black comedy, CYRUS, with this thoughtful indie about a thirty-something slacker named Jeff (Segel, THE MUPPETS) who finally finds a purpose in life after his brother asks for his help.

Pat (Helms, THE HANGOVER PART II) suspects his wife (Greer, THE DESCENDANTS) might be cheating on him, and so sends Jeff off to track her every move and report back.

Meanwhile the brothers' mother (Sarandon) is in the midst of a romantic crisis of her own. The Duplass's unique brand of dysfunctional domestic humour makes JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME a must-see for fans of personal, natural and non-glossy comedy.
