In Southern Sudan, young Malia is kidnapped by Mujahideen raiders. Taken to Khartoum, Malia is sold to a family, where she is subjected to extreme cruelty. Her father searches for her in vain. When Malia turns 18, she is sent to London. Trapped and enslaved, her passport taken away, Malia thinks only of escape.
