Picturehouse Gift Card Image

Simple, flexible and top-up-able!

Do you want to treat someone to the gift of a night at the cinema?

Or perhaps you want to control how much your children spend at the cinema?

A Picturehouse gift card could be what you’re looking for.

Here’s how they work:

1.       Visit any Picturehouse cinema and ask to buy a Gift Card
2.       You choose how much money you want to put on the card (minimum of £5)
3.       You pay for the amount that you are putting on the card (the card is free)

You hand the card to your friend, partner, child, boss, significant other:

1.       They go to any Picturehouse cinema (not necessarily the one you bought the card from)
2.       They choose something to buy (ticket, drinks, food, membership)
3.       They present their Gift Card and pay with that.

The exact amount will be taken off the card and so any money left over will remain on the card for use another time.
If there isn’t enough money on the card, they can pay the difference with another payment method (cash, bank card, another Gift Card etc.)
There are no time limits – the cards can be used whenever it suits them.

Using Gift Cards online

You can use your card to pay for online purchases. When you get to the payment page, change from “Bank Card” to “Gift Card” as the payment type.
You can also top-up your Gift Card online. Simply go to the Gift Card page and there you can add any amount you like to the card.
Please note that if you want the Gift Card to be able to be used online, you need to set a 4-6 digit PIN. You can do this when you buy it or at any till afterwards. You can change your PIN online, too.

We regret that it’s not currently possible to buy new Gift Cards online. We hope to add this facility soon.

Using Gift Cards by telephone

You can use Gift Cards to pay for purchases made by telephone. Simply quote the card number when you make the booking. We strongly advise you to set up a PIN to protect your card and prevent other people guessing your number and using your money to pay for their tickets!

You can also call our ‘Phone Room to buy a card. There is a postage and packing charge of 50p for sending it to you.

You can call to top-up the card without any extra charge.
