This page explains our facilities for people with disabilities and is intended to assist you in planning your visit.

ADVANCE BOOKING
Advance Booking is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide assistance if required. Accompanying carers are eligible for a free ticket. Seating is not allocated for all screenings but we will be pleased to reserve seats for any particular part of the auditorium if this is possible if you ask us in advance.

CUSTOMERS WITH LIMITED MOBILITY
Screen 1 is on the ground floor and is accessible for wheelchair users. There is one designated wheelchair viewing position. An usher will guide customers to this location.

Screen 2 is on the first floor and can only be accessed up a staircase of 32 steps. However, we do try to show each film in both screens over the course of its run, in order to ease access. For information on which screen a particular show is playing in, click on the performance time.

We regret that there are no adapted toilets at the cinema. However, these facilities are available within easy reach of the cinema in Seven Dials (around the back of Sainsbury's on Kingsmead Square, just in front of the Egg Theatre). A member of staff will be happy to give directions where necessary.

There is no parking at the cinema. Parking for drivers with disabled badges is permitted in St Michael’s Place (adjacent to the cinema) at any time for up to 3 hours – providing an orange badge and a ‘clock’ are displayed.

Customers may be dropped off directly outside the cinema.

CUSTOMERS WITH IMPAIRED SIGHT
Guide dogs are welcome. If you wish to take your dog into a performance, please let us know when booking so that we can arrange an aisle seat. Alternatively your dog can be cared for by a member of staff for the duration of the performance. We will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog.

We will provide large print film schedules on request.

CUSTOMERS WITH IMPAIRED HEARING
There is a system to aid customers with impaired hearing in each screen.

Screen 1 has an induction loop, which covers the whole auditorium except for the balcony. Please turn your hearing aid to the T position.

Screen 2 has an infra-red system, for which one needs to collect a set of earphones from the upstairs office (the box office will advise).

Foreign-language films are screened with English subtitles and these are clearly indicated in the programme.
