This autumn, along with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, we are delighted to invite you to Stratford-upon-Avon’s first Shakespeare Film Festival.
With Sir Kenneth Branagh, the patron of SFF, we present a magical fortnight of iconic films and fascinating debates, with a chance for budding cinematographers to enter a new filmmaking competition (more details will be posted on the SBT website very soon).
There’s something for everyone, from classics such as the Burton/Taylor THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and Oliver’s OTHELLO, to contemporary interpretations such as Sir Patrick Stewart’s MACBETH and GNOMEO & JULIET for Kids’ Club (please note adults who are not accompanying a child will not be admitted to Kids’ Club shows).
