Synopsis

James Cameron's AVATAR is re-released including an extra nine minutes of footage, featuring more of the stunning 3D images and action that propelled the highest grossing film of all time to the top.

The world's biggest sci-fi spectacle just got bigger! In the distant future, Jake (Worthington), a wheelchair-bound war veteran, travels to the planet of Pandora on a mission to establish a human colony.

Implanted into the body of a local life form, an eight-foot-tall blue-skinned being known as a Na'vi, he is released into the planet's hostile hinterland.

Here he is befriended by a reluctant ally, Neytiri (Saldana), who draws him into the Na'vi's beguiling and beautiful world.

But as the tensions between humans and aliens increase, Jake will have to pick a side in the epic conflict that is to come.
