This page explains the current facilities for people with disabilities and is intended to assist you in planning your visit.

ADVANCE BOOKING

Advance booking is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide assistance if required. We will be pleased to reserve wheelchair spaces or seats for any particular part of the auditorium if this is helpful. Please contact us in advance.

PATRONS WITH LIMITED MOBILITY
All areas of the cinema are accessible to customers with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. Each of our 4 auditoria has a choice of wheelchair spaces (front row or back row).

Upon arriving at our cinema you may need help with the glass front doors. Please do not hesitate to knock and our staff will come to your assistance.

The ground floor houses the Box Office, kiosk and disabled toilet. The auditoria and bar are on the first floor, which can be accessed via a lift, located next to the Box Office.

The Box Office, kiosk and bar all have adapted counters and accessible levels for transactions.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED PATRONS
Guide dogs are welcome. If you wish to take your dog into a performance, please let us know when booking so that we can arrange an aisle seat. Alternatively your dog can be cared for by a member of staff for the duration of the performance. Our staff will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog. Please give us 24 hours notice if possible.

Our stair rails have bumps on the side to indicate the number of steps approaching each level. Three bumps mean that you are on the third step from the landing, two bumps that you are on the second step and one bump that you are on the final step.

The lift is fitted with a voice commentary and tactile aids.

Large print menus and film schedules are available on request.

A plan of the cinema in Braille is available free of charge. Please contact the cinema using the numbers above.

DEAF / HARD OF HEARING PATRONS
There are induction loop facilities in the screens. Please turn your hearing aid to the T position.

Certain performances carry subtitles and these are clearly indicated in the programme.

DISABLED PARKING
The closest parking is at the 'pay & display' car park on Salway Road immediately behind the cinema, where there are 4 spaces for Orange Badge holders.

IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE
If you are on the ground floor you will be assisted out of the building by staff. If you are on the first floor please make your way to the disabled refuge at the end of the corridor, furthest from the bar. The route is labelled with the sign 'refuge'. Rescue authorities are well briefed on the layout of the building and on the existence of the refuge, and your rescue will be a priority.

TOILETS
There is a fully accessible adapted toilet both on the ground floor and on the first floor. There is an emergency call-point in each disabled toilet should you need to summon a member of staff. There are also cubicles adapted for ambulant disabled customers in both the gents and ladies toilets.

TELEPHONE
There is a public payphone on the first floor beside the bench seating area. Hearing aid users should turn their aids to the T position to benefit from the inductive coupler.
