100 Years of The Ritzy, 100 Free Tickets for Members!
This Thursday, 24 March 2011, is the 100th birthday of The Ritzy, and to mark the occasion we have a special screening celebrating the birth of cinema and the era of the silent film. This event is open to everyone but we have 50 pairs of free tickets to give away to Members.
Renowned accompanist Neil Brand and noted percussionist Jeff Davenport (regulars of the LFF Trafalgar Square silents, the Cambridge Film Festival and Paul Merton's Silent Clowns) will take to the stage this Thursday at 8.00 for a one-off performance of Luis Buñuel & Salvador Dalí's surrealist collaboration UN CHIEN ANDALOU and the 1927 F.W. Murnau masterpiece SUNRISE.
