A domesticated Grizzly bear called Boog (Lawrence) finds there's more to life than being the star attraction of a nature show when Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer (Kutcher), offers him a crash course in woodland living.
Boog's life becomes a lot more complicated one day, when a paranoid hunter returns from a recent foray with Elliot strapped trophy-like to the hood of his truck.
