Upstairs Refitted!
Around five years of dreaming, one year of planning, but only two and a half weeks in the making… Upstairs at the Ritzy has finally made exceptional use of that giant hole in the Upstairs mezzanine. We now have struts and wood in place to let the sunlight, twilight and Brixton vibes pour from the terrace onto our beautiful new floor space.
During the day, lunchtime diners and Wi-Fi-coffee-shop workers can take a seat at the new tables indoors, but now with the sunlight and air of the balcony; while the evenings bring new swing, blues and jive classes, more comfortable dining, comedy and other performance events, and generally more room to party!
And speaking of parties – we're having a free one to celebrate our reopening! Although we’re open for events from Mon 20 Aug, we're waiting until Friday 24 to make our big Upstairs dramatic entrance. Woohoo!
