Cinema Spectacular! at The Ritzy
Picturehouse London Education is proud to present a very special intergenerational event recreating the feel of children's cinema of the 1940s. Featuring the 1939 classic THE WIZARD OF OZ plus face-painting, live magic and prizes for the best costume!
Come join us for a trip down the yellow brick road and back into the golden age of cinema, dressed as your favourite WIZARD OF OZ character, or in your best 1940s outfit!
The event will be hosted, as always, by our resident Reminiscence film expert, accompanied by traditionally dressed usherettes and a commissionaire to keep the rowdier elements of the audience in check! There will be an opportunity for discussion after the film led by our resident speaker, with a free hot drink and biscuits for all ticket-holders.
