Local events, global impact. Oxjam is a music and arts festival made up of hundreds of fundraisers all around the UK in aid of Oxfam. To date, Oxjam has raised over £1.5m, generating long-term support for the world's poorest people. Come and enjoy a classic film or two and support the fight against global poverty!

Originally intending to carry out a broad exploration of the relationship between art and commerce, documentarist Ondi Timoner narrowed his focus to an insightful and poignant look at the differeing fortunes of just two bands, winning a Sundance Grand Jury Prize for his efforts.

This violent, dark Walter Hill picture has become something of a cult favourite thanks to its timely subject matter - inner-city gangs - and notorious reputation. The action begins when representatives of all the New York City street gangs attempt to unite their members into one powerful group.
