Songs you’ll never forget, a film you’ve never seen, and a story that’s never been heard. In September 1967, in the wake of the extraordinary Sgt Pepper, the Beatles made a film – this time conceived and directed by them.
Based on a loose, unscripted narrative, the film became the vehicle for six new songs: Magical Mystery Tour, The Fool on the Hill, Flying, I Am The Walrus, Blue Jay Way and Your Mother Should Know. Magical Mystery Tour is a surreal take on the British tradition of the coach trip to the seaside, featuring John, Paul, George and Ringo as themselves alongside an eccentric cast of characters.
Celebrating 45 years of psychedelic music, film & art and the Beatles' cult film, Magical Mystery Tour, being fully restored, with a new 5.1 surround soundtrack and shown on the big screen fro the first time - 45 years after it was made! Apple Films Ltd is allowing Noise of Art to screen the film as part of a cross platform event over three floors of DJs, musicians, surround visuals and psychedelic curiosity.
