London Feminist Film Festival at Hackney Picturehouse

Thursday 29 November - Sunday 2 December

The first edition of the London Feminist Film Festival comes to Hackney Picturehouse this November/December. We’ll be showing feminist films past and present, from women directors all around the world.

Our exciting programme includes new films by up-and-coming directors, some of which are UK premieres, as well as some feminist classics. We’ll be highlighting important issues related to women’s rights and social status – topics too often missing from mainstream media. Our post-film panel discussions form an integral part of the festival as we explore the subjects dealt with in the films as well as issues around the representation of women behind and in front of the camera. Join us for what promises to be an inspiring, thought-provoking festival!
