Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Jamaican Independence

A photographic exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Jamaican independence

27 July - 1 September

GV Media, proud publishers of the Gleaner UK, award-winning Young Voices magazine and Britain's only black weekly newspaper the Voice, presents a photographic exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Jamaica's independence.

This specially curated collection features images from Jamaica's past, which many in the UK will have never seen.

Celebrating the Queen's diamond jubilee and Jamaica's 50th anniversary, this amazing exhibition delves into the archives of the Jamaica Gleaner and the Voice, showing some classic royal, political, celebrity and Olympic moments.

Accompanying this exhibition is a DVD showcasing Jamaica's ‘Journey of Olympic Champions’ over the last 50 years.
