Synopsis

Based on the 1966-1971 gothic soap opera of the same name, Tim Burton's (ALICE IN WONDERLAND) DARK SHADOWS stars Johnny Depp as a well-heeled vampire named Barnabas Collins.

In 18th-century Maine, Barnabas has made a handsome fortune and is enjoying a playboy lifestyle until he breaks the heart of a witch named Angelique Bouchard (Green, CASINO ROYALE). Transformed by a curse and buried alive, Barnabas endures 200 years of solitude until he emerges in the year 1972, to find his mansion in a state of decay and his family's fortunes waning.
