Our staff and management team are friendly and professional, our screen is beautiful and our location - right by Notting Hill Gate station - is ideal.
Looking for a filming or photography location?
The Gate is a stunning 100-year-old cinema with an impressive classic auditorium. Deep red curtains and gold detailing create an authentic atmosphere and mean that there is little or no time needed for any set-up work on your part.
We have been used as a location previously by the BBC and for Martin Scorsese's film HUGO 3D.
Want to run a conference or launch?
Our auditorium can seat 185 people and is fully accessible for wheelchair users. We can project presentations onto our screen if required. If you don’t want the screen we can close the curtains, and there is a stage area for you to use.
We can arrange for refreshments with our local partners.
Looking for a private screening?
You can hire The Gate for a screening of any film in our current programme, or we can source another film (although this will incur an additional cost, and we cannot guarantee that the film will be available). If you wish, you can pre-order drinks and snacks, and we will prepare them in advance for your event.
