On the eve of the 2012 Man Booker Prize announcement, this year’s shortlisted writers will be reading and discussing their work in front of an audience. The event will be chaired by one of the UK’s favourite broadcasters, James Naughtie.
The Man Booker Prize is the world's most prestigious literary award that recognises the very best in fiction writing. The 2012 shortlist, announced this week, includes:
