LIBERAL ARTS Treasure Hunt

Win a book from the Penguin English Library, a collection of 100 of the best novels in the English language.

A witty and bittersweet cross-generational comedy-drama, LIBERAL ARTS sees writer/director Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother) play Jesse, a 30-something university admissions officer who is jaded in both his career and his personal life. When he is invited to attend the retirement dinner of his favourite professor at his old university, Jesse jumps at the chance to take a trip down memory lane, and during that weekend he meets Zibby (Elizabeth Olsen, MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE), a zestful sophomore some 16 years his junior. While gently poking fun at youth’s obsession with self and significance, LIBERAL ARTS is ultimately an elegy to the raw passions of such halcyon days, perfectly capturing the tension between the untainted ideas of those starting out and the realities and compromises of adult life.

To celebrate this film about life, love and reading, we'll be hiding a few beautifully produced editions of Penguin English Library books under seats in screenings of LIBERAL ARTS over the opening weekend of the film (Friday - Sunday). If you're lucky enough to find one it's yours to keep; please go to the Penguin English Library Facebook page and tell us what you think of the book.
