Released in 1982, THE DARK CRYSTAL is a much-loved fantasy film from the legendary Jim Henson, best known as the creator of the Muppets. Marking 30 years since its release, The Space presents this event with interview guests, providing an exclusive insight into the making of the film following the screening. We are pleased to welcome Producer Gary Kurtz and Art Director Terry Ackland-Snow.
As well as producing THE DARK CRYSTAL, Gary Kurtz’s credits include producing STAR WARS and THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Terry Ackland-Snow was also the Art Director on BATMAN, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, SUPERMAN 2, ALIENS, LABYRINTH and THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS.
