Established in 1934, Glyndebourne is renowned for the quality of its opera productions and commitment to artistic excellence. Its orchestras (London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment) are world-class and the Glyndebourne Chorus is widely considered to be one of the pre-eminent choruses in international opera.
