Housed in the lovingly restored Suckling Hall, The Bar and The Dining Rooms at Cinema City represent a huge departure from the average venue-dining experience.
A delicious late-breakfast and bar-snack menu is available all day, and offers beautifully prepared sandwiches and salads for those on the go, alongside more substantial fare for those with time to spare. These can be enjoyed in the main bar area, in our covered and heated courtyard, or in the summer months, on our terrace overlooking St Andrew’s Street.
From 6.00pm we offer an extensive à la carte menu. The emphasis is on traditional English and European classics with a very definite Cinema City sense of style.
If pudding is your thing, we can guarantee a fine end to your meal, with dishes such as Forest Berry and Almond Clafoutis, White Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake and Triple Chocolate Cointreau Torte counting among our favourites!
On top of this fine food offer, we have also carefully selected a range of by-the-bottle-only wines to complement the extensive choice already available at The Bar. Spanish Albarino, Italian Zibibbo and Dr Loosen’s famous Blue Slate Riesling lead the whites, while Grand Cru St Emillion, Southern French Cahors and bold Australian Shiraz are the highlights of the reds. We’ve even selected two sweet treats for those sufficiently well informed to enjoy pudding wines, with first-class botrytised Riesling and rare Reccioto della Valpolicella from Italy completing a meal experience to savour!
