Winner of the Best Director Silver Bear at the 2010 Berlin Film Festival, Polanski's (THE PIANIST) first film in five years is an adaptation of the bestselling 2007 Robert Harris novel, The Ghost Writer.
Pierce Brosnan stars as Adam Lang, a former British Prime Minister accused of war crimes - a thinly veiled Tony Blair, whose resignation prompted the novel.
He commissions a ghostwriter aptly named The Ghost (Ewan McGregor) to complete his memoirs.
As The Ghost digs deeper in order to deliver the finished autobiography on time, he becomes wrapped up in a perilous game of political spin and deception that will put his life in danger.
