NOT THE MESSIAH

NOT THE MESSIAH (HE’S A VERY NAUGHTY BOY) (Cert TBC)

Thursday 25 March

A fabulously entertaining 90-minute comic oratorio by Eric Idle and John Du Prez (creators of Spamalot) inspired by Monty Python’s LIFE OF BRIAN, filmed at its only European performance at the Royal Albert Hall in October 2009 to celebrate 40 years of Monty Python.

This hilarious take on the Messiah features the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Choir, and a host of superb soloists in the lead roles, including Rosalind Plowright, Eric Idle and Michael Palin as Mrs Betty Parkinson, plus special guest appearances from Pythons Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam.  And of course three sheep! Like Handel, only funnier.

To mark this very special screening we are giving away three Monster Monty Python Box Sets!

The box set includes all four series of Monty Python's Flying Circus, all their legendary (and poll-topping) films, including the brand new special edition of Monty Python's LIFE OF BRIAN, plus Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl.

To win one of these fantastic box sets, email your answer to the following question to competitions@picturehouses.co.uk

Monty Python's LIFE OF BRIAN is a parody of the life of which religious leader?
A: The Prophet Muhammad
B: Jesus of Nazareth
C: The Buddha
