They are Raimunda (Cruz), married with a teenage daughter, Sole (Dueñas), her sister, and their mother (Maura), who died in a fire but who appears before Sole.
Visually sumptuous, the performances are equally strong; Cruz delivers arguably her strongest showing yet.
