Colonel Sergei Gregoriev (played by revered director Emir Kusturica, ARIZONA DREAM), a Russian KGB operative, finds himself increasingly disenchanted with the communist regime.
He starts liaising with the enemy, supplying documents to a Moscow-based French engineer, who relays them to the French secret service.
At the height of the Cold War, Ronald Reagan (Fred Ward) meets with French president François Mitterrand (Philippe Magnan) to use this information to alter the course of international politics.
