NUIT DE LA GLISSE 3D: At the Very Last Moment
The adrenaline-fuelled extreme sports documentary series has gone 3D for its 2011 edition to immerse you at the heart of the action.
Footage includes a quest for the perfect snow that led the filmmakers to western Greenland.
Director Donard recounts: "faces of over 2500ft vertical drop; glaciers as far as the eye can see, surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains; an environment spared of any human presence; volatile weather conditions… that's where we found the focus of our search."
Also featured are downhill mountain biking from the Lapierre Team in Chamonix; street skateboarding in Annecy from Joris Brichet; wing-suiting and speed-riding through the Mont Blanc massif; and big-wave surfing from Garrett McNamara, who eyes up the largest wave ever surfed in Portugal.
The film also includes 30 minutes of the most amazing moments from the past ten years of Nuit de la Glisse.
